Job Summary

Adaptive Computing is seeking to fill a full-time position for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER in the Naples, FL office. Relocation will not be provided so candidates must be local or planning to re-locate to Naples, FL. You will be working on state-of-the-art cloud computing technology projects. This is a great opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Write and maintain software
  • Write unit and QA regression tests
  • Work with Technical Support and customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Write and review design documents
  • Provide content for end user and system administrator documentation
  • Write and give demo presentations to customers
  • Participate and complete tasks as a member of scrum/agile team(s)

Required Experience

  • Fluency with: Node.js and MongoDB
  • Operating System Experience: Linux, 3+ years – scripting, administration, and configuration
  • Infrastructure-As-Code deployments with a major IaaS provider (GCP, AWS, ORI, Azure)
  • Development tools (or their equivalents): Git, Gitlab, Jira and Autotools (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with Networking protocols

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience building frontend applications with js-based framework (React a plus)
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with popular container runtime (Docker or Singularity)
  • Experience with Golang and Python a plus
  • Experience in High Performance Computing, or High Throughput Computing
