UI Designer – React – Naples, FL
Job Summary
Adaptive Computing is seeking a skilled UI Designer/Developer who has a proven track record of being an effective and creative team member in a dynamic environment. The person selected for this role will be creating all UI components within HPC/enterprise software applications using React and Node.js. Experience in the Linux environment is essential for this position. The person in this role will be working on state-of-the-art Cloud Computing Technology and High-Performance Computing applications. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a development team within a rapidly growing company. This position is NOT remote and is on-site in the Naples, FL office.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop all UI elements for Adaptive Computing’s cloud enablement software solution
- Work closely with other developers as part of a team and to solve issues
- Integrate new functionality and features
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred but not required
- Expertise in using React.js; Flutter a plus
- 2+ years using Linux
- Skilled with Node.js
- Strong understanding of front-end coding and development technologies
- Must have expertise in developing visually compelling and highly functioning interface architecture
- Experience in responsive and grid-based design
- Graphical User Interface (GUI) screen layout, page layout, and composition skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all technical and business team members
- Experience in implementing microservices, RESTful APIs, and event driven architectures
- Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to be a self-starter and to multitask
- JavaScript, Node.js
- Fluent in writing and speaking English
